This software is for Windows, and has been developed at the University of Technology, Sydney. If you have developed a program that could be useful at another university, please submit it for inclusion here.

To download the software, click on the program name to download an EXE file. Run this file to extract the Setup files for the progam. The Setup should start automatically. Once Setup is complete, you can delete the downloaded file and the temporary setup files.

Research.exe
The Research Training Scheme makes it increasingly important to keep track of research load. This program works from the ASCII statistical files as specified by DETYA to provide a report on research load by HECS code, for individual research courses and as a summary. It is particularly useful if you do not trust your student records to provide a report that exactly matches the DETYA files. The program can be customised for individual universities, and to cope with changes to the files in future years.

Text file converters
Two small programs to convert text files between Unix and Windows. Windows uses a CR/LF pair at the end of each line of text, whereas Unix uses only a CR. MakeCrLf.exe converts from Unix to Windows; MakeUnix.exe converts from Windows to Unix.
