Gold Coast

(Incorporating the Load Management and DEEWR SIGs)


The 2010 AAIR Data Warehouse Special Interest Group Forum was hosted by Southern Cross University at its new developing Gold Coast Beachside Campus immediately adjacent to Coolangatta Airport.
The 2010 Data Warehouse Special Interest Group Forum was broadened to also incorporate sessions for the Load Management and DEEWR Reporting AAIR Special Interest Groups.
The theme of the Forum was WEARING MANY HATS.
There were several sub themes as follows:
- Technical: (E.g. ETL (Extract, Transform and Load), Conforming Dimensions, Centralised vs Silos)
- BI: (E.g. Dashboards and Metrics, Institutional Performance Tracking and Reporting, Data analytics, Data definitions)
- Load Management: (E.g. Forecasting, Tracking cohorts, 2012 and beyond)

DEEWR Reporting: (E.g. Reporting dimensions, Aligning conflicting agendas: Federal/State/Institution)
