Life Members

The AAIR Rules provide for two kinds of Life Members.

1. Honorary Life membership may be conferred by the Committee at its discretion.(e) Upon the approval of an application for Individual membership, or upon the conferment of any other class of membership, the person affected shall become a member of the AAIR in the relevant class of membership and will be bound by these Rules. The Membership Secretary shall forthwith advise the applicant or person affected of the election to the particular class of membership. 
2. Life membership may be conferred only on the recommendation of the Committee and is subject to majority approval of members present at an annual general meeting.

Merit Certificates have also been awarded to the following:
