Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

AAIR is committed to providing opportunities for its members and associates to explore those specialist areas around institutional research through its Special Interest Groups (SIGs).

Currently AAIR has a number of SIGs:

• Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence;
• Load Management;
• DEEWR; and
• Surveys and Evaluation.

Each year sessions are set aside for these SIGs to meet during the annual Forum.

For a number of years now the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence SIG has held its own Forum around the middle of the year.  From 2009, the DEEWR and Load Management SIGs will meet with their Data Warehouse colleagues to hold a combined  Forum. In 2010 this will be sponsored by Southern Cross University.
